WOW, what a year 2020 was with so many changes as the Covid-19 pandemic quickly shut the world down. What hasn't changed is Don having slow progression ALS and humbly needing to ask for donation help once again as he raises funds through the 2021 Virtual Walk to Defeat ALS campaign.
ALS is an always-fatal neurodegenerative disease in which a person's brain loses connection with the muscles. People with ALS lose their ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe.
The ALS Association provides essential assistance for people with ALS at every stage of the disease. In addition, contributions to the Walk to Defeat ALS allow for global funding for cutting-edge research.
The ALS walk this year is virtual and you choose where to walk in honor of Don on May 15, 2021. Don't know what we would do without his friends and the ALS Association's continued support.
