We will continue to closely monitor all COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the event is safe for all participants. If you prefer to not attend the event in person, there is the option for you to have your own ride in your neighborhood! Participants will receive a communication closer to the event outlining COVID-19 safety measures, which will align with all state and county regulations.

What are the different route start times?

77 Mile Ride: 6:00am-8:00am

Metric Century Ride (61 miles): 8:00am-9:00am

51 Mile Ride: 8:00am-9:00am

25 Mile Ride: 9:00am-9:30am

Family Fun Bike Parade: 12:00pm

Start times subject to change based on weather conditions.

How do I register? Help! I cannot remember my username or password! 

Did you participate last year? Have you ever registered for any of our other events? Do you receive our e-newsletter, Connections? If you answered YES to any of the questions above, then you have a username and password for our website! We recommend logging in before you register to make the process easy for you! The system will likely remember you and all your past information, including edits to your personal pages.

If you need help registering, please email ride@alsoregon.org and we will get you set up.  Please allow a 24-hour response time Monday – Friday. 

What are the costs involved, and what is provided?

The Ride to Defeat ALS does not have a registration fee, but there is a fundraising minimum of $150 for participants 11 years or older. We are here to make reaching that minimum easy! Every dollar raised goes towards our mission. 

I am a person with ALS.  In what ways can I participate?

Join in on the fun and register!  You can fundraise, even if you do not plan to cycle. The more, the merrier! Please email ride@alsoregon.org and we will get back to you with your info.

Yes!  Please visit our training tips tab and you can find guides specially tailored to various cycling distances. 

What is a Personal Page?

Your Personal Page is an online promotional tool to use when asking your friends and family to join your team or make a donation. Once you're registered, a personal page is automatically created for you. You can customize this page with photos and your personal story by logging into your Participant Center. Our staff is here to help you every step of the way.

Do I have to change my Personal Page?

You don't have to, but we know from experience that the participant’s personal touch makes the page more compelling to prospective donors. Be creative and have fun with it. Please know we are here to help you do this.

How do I change my personal fundraising goal?

Login to your Participant Center. At the top of that page, you'll see your current goal and a link to change it directly below it. Or you can contact us and we can do it for you.

How can I see who has donated on my behalf?

Login to your Participant Center. Click the Progress tab at the top of the page, then scroll down to view your donor list. You can also download a list of your supporters from this page.

How can I enter a donation that someone has given me?

Please send all checks to the Chapter office as you receive them so our Staff can enter them online on your behalf.

How can I see who is on my team?

Login to your Participant Center, then click on View Team Roster from the navigation on the right side of the page
