The Ski to Defeat ALS presented by Franklin Control Systems offers something for everyone as it’s a family friendly event that brings hope to the fight against ALS.
People living with
ALS, family members, friends, skiers, snowboarders and snow-shoers come together to raise
significant funds to support comprehensive local care services as well as
effective national public policy and top-notch international cutting-edge
Your Registration Fee covers:
- Lift ticket (if needed), an
all-day pass to Mt. Hood Meadows, and exclusive entry into our private
- Participation in our contests and
opportunity to take home a traveling trophy.
- All your meals, non-alcoholic
beverages, two drink tickets exchangeable for alcoholic beverages (21 and
over), entertainment, an awards celebration and much more!
- Snowshoe participants: Your poles & snowshoes are included.
Kids 6 and Under
For kids 6 and under who want to register with the LIFT TICKET registration option, please use discount code: KIDSUNDER6. This makes their registration fee only $20 which inlcudes their lift ticket, food and beverage.
For kids 6 and under that want to register with
the SEASON PASS registration option, please use
discount code: SEASONSIX. This makes their registration fee only $10 which
includes participation in the event festivities, food and beverage.

Then North on Hwy 35 - 10 miles to Meadows.
If you prefer an easier, less congested drive...
Take I -84 to Exit 64 in Hood River.

participant 11 years and older is required to meet a $150 fundraising minimum
by the day of the event.
Our chapter receives no government or insurance funding. Our mission is
funded solely by the local community and events such as the Ski to Defeat ALS.
